"I really am amazed that a judge sitting on an island in the Pacific can issue an order that stops the President of the United States from what appears to be clearly his statutory and Constitutional power."
Stinkin' little island, probably already washing away! WAIT! strike that. Global warming doesn't exist.

Stinkin' little island, since when do the colonies tell us how to run our country!?!

Stinkin' little island, natives dancing around half naked on the beach! It's time they bent to our will and learned who carries the big stick! ...
The court decision should be moot by the fall, there is nothing to prevent him from changing and putting his "extreme vetting procedures" in place. The court case was involving a ban, it will be unnecessary come fall.
I somehow think the court hearing will be here before the "extreme vetting procedures" are.

Well yes, it's already been 100 days where are these new extreme vetting procedures. Actually I believe he already pure them in place in his memo last month, he asked the agencies to Vet more carefully, that's it!
Hawaii never rebelled against the federal government nor did it take up arms against the federal government, making it more American than Sessions' own state
Amen.
Hawaii never seceded and took up arms against the United States.
I assumed with Sessions' vast legal knowledge that he would have known this was a possibility, and therefore not be "amazed" by it.
With that said, I'll be honest that I was a bit amazed as well though. Several times, unhappy with the situation, I asked myself how one judge can block Trump's EO. It really does seem blocking it would require more. It was really a huge crock of BS as far as I'm concerned. The blood of a terrorist attack could end up being on the hands of that meddling judge.
Why dont you? Go READ the decisions and the justifications for them. I don't get my legal advice from national review, nor their chosen "good" judges. If you did read the decision you might understand things better. But you haven't. Have you? Partisanship is a bad shade on you too. And you have read enough of my posts by now to know that I really do try to be fair most of the time.
Now, I'm not saying this will win at the supreme court level, but I am saying they had a reasonable argument based upon their rulings.
BTW if Trump had kept his big mouth shut, and not called it a muslim ban he probably could have managed this. The failure of this is from him and his mouth.
What I am amazed about is anyone from Alabama dissing Hawaii. I mean who dreams of relocating to Alabama?
