1. What is the cost of living in the area of that Chinese factory?
2. Don't like outsourcing jobs? Blame our elected reps from both parties who not only made it legal but have been protecting it since the 90's.

As I've said before, I've obviously never met Ivanka, but compared to her father, she seems like a nice enough person.
But why do conservatives continue to worship her as if she's some sort of role-model for young American women to look up to, as if she's this genius business woman who worked hard, pulled herself up by her bootstraps, and built her own retail empire. That is not the case.
Ivanka, just like her father, was given tens of millions of dollars and some of the top Trump family business advisers to start her own company. Yet conservatives want to build her up as this ambitious, hard-working woman who created her brand on her own.
End of the day, being honest and just calling it what it is, Ivanka Trump is a spoiled rich girl that has had E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G in life handed to her on a silver platter, including her business. Now, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, but again...conservatives should stop trying to build her up as if she's this self-made, powerful business woman that built her own company from the ground up and little girls should look up to her.
The company (more accurately, the sweatshop) Ivanka Trump employs to manufacture her line of clothing pays women wages of $62 a week for 60 hours of work. Inspectors with the Fair Labor Association, an industry monitoring group, found two dozen violations of international labor standards during a two-day tour of the factory in October, saying in a report that workers faced daunting hours, high turnover, and pay near or below China’s minimum wage.
All this comes at a time when Ivanka is pretending to be a champion workplace issues and women's issues and supporting her father's bogus buy American/hire American agenda.

She very well might be a nice enough person. But she has no business in the white house. Aside from being born rich - what exactly are her qualifications?
Zero.
And to sit on a panel of very distinguished women, while all Ivanka has done is paid slave wages in China, was just ludicrous. The WH should never have sent her.
unless ivanka owns the company that actually makes her clothing line, rather than just allow them to put her name on their clothes, you cannot blame ivanka, or donald for what happens in the factories.
She pays them to make her products, or she licenses her name to them.
Either way she is the prime mover in this embarrassing scenario, has control and responsibility for it.

What?? It's HER clothing line. Are you seriously trying to spin this into "Ivanka doesn't know where her company manufactures nor did she have knowledge that her name is on.....her own clothing line". Holy crap. I've seen some really stupid desperate crap come out of cons on here but this one almost takes the cake. Pathetic.
