I think politically speaking. This doesn't make it like it was in 07 10 years ago. People against Obamacare largely because it covered poor people but it made it much more expensive for them, are not going to get their old coverage back. It's this or much worse. I understand if you were just getting by and your premiums doubled you probably dont care if poor people are covered.

This bill is awful it fixes nothing other than shifting blame to the states. It seems to me that the house knows it won't pass the Senate without reforms that will make it not pass the house, a political hot potato.

Why is everyone's panties being tied into knots? The Senate has already said they don't like this bill and will propose something different. Get over it. ObamaCare is dead and something else will take it's place. We still don't know what that something else is. Let's wait and see before we start committing suicide.

the ACA could've been repealed and replaced with something better. it doesn't really look like they did that, what they proposed is worse. maybe the senate will figure out a humane solution to this catastrophe.

welcome to the result of run-away govt spending and not keeping your fiscal house in order. conservatives tried like hell to explain that you simply can not keep kicking the can down the road and you have to face the reality of living within your means. what does this have to do with healthcare? govt. could easily issue more debt to offset the cost increases (again) to make premiums more affordable - but they have spent and promised themselves into a corner. this is the tip of the iceberg and shows you what happens when taxpayers actually have to cough up their own money to pay the bills. having fun yet?

become a conservative and save yourself.

I'm pretty sure the GOP budget addresses none of that.
