Common sense and rational explanation.

The deputy attorney general, who was voted in 94-6 by the Senate, was the one who recommended firing Comey. He is a 30 year career professional and an Obama appointee. They go through the letter that was written.

CORRECTION: Rosenstein was originally appointed by Bush in 2005, not Obama.

The documentation is here. The fourth letter is the one of interest.

This pretty much nails it. I really do not understand how liberals twisted this into some sort of plot for dictatorial control.

I don't know what else needs to be said. Liberals are going mad with their conjecture and outright conspiracy theories.

That's not the story out of The White House his morning. The press briefing made it very clear that Trump had been considering firing since election day.

Their spin changes.....

Considering doesn't change the fact that Trump responded to a recommendation by the Deputy Atty General. There is no spin. Does it matter if Trump was considering it or not?

Sorry, just way too many coincidences...

Like how it happened just after Comey testified before Congress.

Like how Trump, Sessions, and Rosenstein waited until Comey was out of town before canning him.

Like how it happened the same day that that subpoenas were issued to witnesses from the grand jury that's investigating Trump cronies.

Like how the justification for his termination was for an action that occurred back in July 2016, but they just now got around to terminating for those actions.

Like how the rest of Trump's administration was caught completely off guard by the dismissal.

Like how Trump's own letter notifying Comey of his dismissal didn't even mention that he was being dismissed for Comey's actions during the July 2016 news conference (did Trump even read the memo he ordered from Rosenstein?)

This is the biggest Trump deflection he's ever attempted...even he must be realizing that his tweets are now lacking the punch that they once had.

Exactly. And if so, why a 100+ day wait? If Trump "hires best people" why did it take 100 days for someone to come out and say that Comey needs to go?

In the past when this has occurred the letter recommending firing goes through a careful review that takes a couple days. These were done in one with no review according to past DOJ employees.

Yeah. That fails the sniff test. And thier story keeps changing. Ie they are lying worse then my children could.

Read the letter I just posted in the OP - again - made by an Bush appointee approved by the Senate 94-6 to be deputy AG.

Trump took the advice of a 30 year career professional. He did not do this on a whim.

In the video, Hannity goes through statements made by Eric Holder, Jamie Goerelick, Alberto Gonzalez, and others about Comey's performance.

Actually - the letter in the OP mentions the statements by Holder, Goerelick, Gonzales and others.
