Disappointing for sure,ABC continues to show the open mindedness and fairness in media....I loved this show really the ONLY reason I watch ABC. Guess it can be deleted from our tv channel list now. I hope FX or CMT or someone picks up a sure winner of a TV show.

That show is horrible. It is like a show from a time capsule, old school style sitcoms suck. They also produce terrible ratings in the important demographic groups.

Exactly. Anyway, Trump has made it clear that ratings are more important than issues.

Usually I'd agree with you, but the Fox line-up is very different from Fox News. In fact, it's one of the most diversified on TV. I remember when Fox first aired Ally McBeal. Also, The Simpsons and Family Guy are on Fox. Glee was on Fox and it was far from conservative.

When a show reaches its seventh season, usually the stars and folks behind the scenes want more money as contracts are renegotiated. The cancellation was about money not politics.

‘Last Man Standing’ canceled by ABC after 6 seasons – TV By The Numbers by zap2it.com

It's been ten years at least, since there's been any program on ABC that interested me.

I can't say I understand the mindset of someone who thinks a network sitcom starring Tim Allen is "literally the only good show on TV".

I guess we're not real Americans.

ABC 2016-17 Season Ratings (updated 5/11/17) - canceled TV shows - TV Series Finale
Down 5.11% since last year, and it had dropped by 4.89% the year before.

But I'm sure it was canceled after 6 seasons because of it's conservative leanings.

It was in the top 20 in January,

and did well in these other two rating also

A sitcom lasting more than 4 years is a success. Lasting more than 8 years is a huge hit. It is a good show but those who are ultra leftist won't like the show. That pretty much means it wouldn't get much long term viewers in NYC, San Francisco, LA, and other such places.

You want to see hapless husband, watch Fixer Upper on HGTV.

Chip's a former baseball player turned contractor and she's a designer of homes that you just want to flop down and live in.

Tim Allen is okay, but a little of that goes a long way. Here you can also see some sweet remodels in Waco, Texas of all places.
