What an idiot. Taxed to the breaking point the taxpayers are resisting more tax increases so Brown calls them freeloaders. Meanwhile, Brown is spending $64 billion on a train to nowhere that is projected to have huge overruns and years of delays.
-----------------

In response to criticism over a new $52 billion tax hike for the already heavily-taxed state, Gov. Jerry Brown (D-Calif.) called upset taxpayers “freeloaders.”

“The freeloaders — I’ve had enough of them,” Brown said at an event in Orange Country last week.

Yes, law-abiding Californians who work and pay taxes are “freeloaders” according to his liberal logic, just because they don’t support getting taxed even more than they already are.

Wow... not the illegals who sponge freely off of emergency health services and education... but the taxpayers are freeloaders.

Probably need to keep that one handy around election time for the next Democrat he endorses.

Actually - just read the Red State link, it summarizes it better.

The 1,000,000 citizens in Los Angeles county alone who collect food stamps provided by taxpayers are not freeloaders. The millions of illegal immigrants being harbored in California’s sanctuary cities to the cost of taxpayers are not freeloaders. Illegal immigrants being provided “free” legal help by the state on the backs of taxpayers are not freeloaders. The bloodsuckers in the Sacramento legislature who get paid $178 a day in per diem funds on top of their bloated salaries just for walking in the door to their job every day are not freeloaders.

$178 per diem?? Dang... I know it's California, but that seems like a lot to me.

What a joke. Freeloaders. It sounds like he refers to people who elected him.

I guess some of the Democrats in California came to realize they are now the "rich" that need to pay their fair share.

Every year, more and more of them will become those rich people.
