Impeachment is an extremely high bar. And it doesn't guarantee removal. And even if removed, don't expect Mike Pence to really have much of a different agenda - although he may at least be able to conduct himself as a mature adult most of the time, which would be refreshing. Elections have consequences.

I'll be surprised if they can pin anything criminal on Trump personally. They'll probably knock out an official or two in his administration and call it at that.

Of course, that doesn't mean there weren't any sleazy Russian connections that Trump will cover up. Or that Trump won't continue to be a whiny mess who mixes his business profits with politics.

I did want Trump to be impeached and removed. But now I think that I'd rather have him remain in office. If a "normal" Republican is president, they'll just be able to push their harmful agenda forward. If Trump stays in the Oval Office, the constant drama and chaos, not to mention the investigations, might derail their efforts to pass legislation.

Plus, I'd miss the entertainment if he was gone.

Anyone who says with any conviction that they know what will happen down the road needs to be ignored. He'll either be impeached or he won't be impeached. Nobody knows for certain which it will be

It's the go to goal for Liberals and Media (same thing) to try to impeach any Republican President. It worked in 1972 with R Nixon but Repubs are on to that game now. I wonder how much Soros and taxpayer money is going to be wasted chasing this liberal fantasy.

In all honesty Trump was in big real estate business. Once they start investigating that they WILL find something dirty. Virtually everyone in that industry at high levels regularly commit crimes, and can normally get away with it because they will throw lawyers and money at it.

Thats not a real option now, the FBI will not back off because of his lawyers. Its part of why he has the attitude he does. Nothing is a big deal, white collar crime? So what? Thats not like a real crime.

So I think we will find he does not fare well here. Will more show up? Maybe.

That was also serious bs and should never have been attempted. If the Dimorats try to impeach Trump, the same will happen.

Of what? A completely unfit president - lazy, reckless, impulsive, irresponsible, reactionary - who doublecrosses and lies to his own staff and the US public daily? Never.

Th gambling odds are 50% he gets impeached or resigns from office. So there is a high chance. I mean Clinton almost got impeached and people actually liked him. Trump is incompetent and a compulsive liar. It's only a matter of time. He will do something(s) illegal, get caught, then try to cover it up and lie, then get impeached.
