Crap move.
Is anyone really surprised at this? Raise your hand if you are shocked that Donald Trump would favor his son-in-law and throw his employee under the bus once again. Me neither.

Guess that's why you don't hear much about trump's "common courtesy."

And the reason that adulterous man-HO is meeting with the pope is...............?????????

I think it was awful Spicer didn't get to go. I'm no fan of Spicer but come on! He is one of the few Catholics in the inner circle.

Loyalty with Trump is a one-way street.

Spicer's absence in papal visit reveals Trump's family-first rule - CNNPolitics.com

Even Trump's thug bodyguard got to go. They could have made room for spicer. This was a deliberate slight.

Maybe this will be the last straw for him. I've heard people who knew him before are shocked by the change since he's been with trump. Better for his health and sanity to get out of there.

Trump has no sympathy or empathy for anyone. Never has, never will.

Me three.

But it's been a mystery to me for a while why Spicer stays on.
