Nowhere in there does he say he endorses Trump in any way. He's a DIPLOMATIC leader.
Of course, he wants to try to work with Trump. They all do. Right now, the Dutch do not contribute as much money as Trump went barreling in there saying they all should (which was not cool of him to say, btw).
Trump has no clue how NATO works, but reasonable leaders from NATO countries will try to work with him because it is in their best interests.
They do this with all heads of state. What's so exciting about this news?
