We took a trip to Lake Tahoe last October and when we came back into St. Louis I realized we had a week without black people and I also realized I had not missed having them around. I don't mind living around them but they are not really a necessary part of my life.

And without the ability TO READ AT AN ADULT LEVEL, she is going to find the world is a very hard, nasty, and cruel place. And in the case of the girl that can't read, she will more than likely be unemployable. With maybe the exception of fast food restaurants. Of course it will never be her fault though.. A lifetime of everybody telling her everything is because of racism will have her believing she was "kept down."

Students just need to grow up, indeed since when did students run the Universities they attend.
As for the University it needs to get a grip, if the student don't ike it then they are free to leave and any student harrasing this professor should be instantly expelled and escorted off the camous forever by the police.
Progressive cred notwithstanding, Weinstein put the Evergreen student body at risk by publicizing the protest in such a dishonest and unflattering way. The faces, names and phone numbers of student organizers were published online on subreddits dedicated to harassing leftists and people of color. A swastika was spray-painted on the side of a seminar building the day after the protest. Students living in Olympia have been routinely harassed by Weinstein’s sympathizers who show up to on and off-campus housing to threaten violence and shout racial slurs at students. These are all directly the fault of Weinstein’s self-martyrdom and his control of a narrative that does not belong to him.

This is an example of Administrators acting like adults. He's treating the students with respect, but telling them exactly what they can expect if they violate policy for student conduct.
They're going to be arrested and expelled if they proceed with their stupid behavior.
As far as I'm concerned, they went above and beyond in answering their questions.
I was going to add that this is the difference between midwestern values and the loopy left coast, but then I remembered that the University of WI in the People's Republic of Madison is also in the midwest.
