Agreed on the NO Mask rule. Is one allowed to wear a mask in a bank? In court? In a mosque? In a police station?

Also, what is the proper response to being attacked by pepper spray? If someone standing next to you is attacked (and they are temporarily dilapidated by the Pepper Spray), what is the best method for detaining a Pepper Sprayer for the authorities?

Watching him (or her) accidentally trip and the perps head falls into a 2 X 4? Or the guy trips and his or her (can't tell because of the freaking mask) face accidentally falls into your fist? Use a Taser?

Thanks.

The problem is that Portland is a big center of opposition to Trump and the concern is that if they rally is not cancelled there will be a huge street brawl between the Trump supporting neo-fascists and the anti-fascists (and other left wing groups).

In fact, the Republicans want to bring in private military groups like the supposed "Oathkeepers" which will only inflame the situation even more so than it already is.

It sure is.

Not to mention the term "hate speech" has been completely bastardized at this point, and essentially has no meaning anymore.

"Hate speech" is the Left's dishonest term for dissent, i.e., speaking truth to power. Nothing is more squarely within the concept of "free speech" than dissident speech. In fact, that's the only type of speech that the concept of "free speech" could ever possibly apply to.

‘Hate speech is not protected by the First Amendment,’ Portland mayor says. He’s wrong.

No, there’s no “hate speech” exception to the First Amendment

Silly, silly man. Does he not see he's doing exactly what these groups want him to do?? They chose Portland for a reason because they expected this response. So, if Portland gives permits to other groups for political rallies but only denies those he doesn't agree with, they're going to sue and they're going to win. My guess? That was the point all along.

this was only a month ago:

Portland rose parade canceled after ‘antifascists’ threaten GOP marchers

I'm seeing a pattern here

Alt Right wasn't even a thing until some snowflake....or deep state operative....or Soros media communications mgr.....or some social media activist invented the damn word.

Now you guys want to "invent" what Hate speech is.

I really don't think the SJWs should want to "poke the bear" when it comes to the First or Second Amendment. It's not going to end well. A handful of snowflakes dressed in Black with masks.... encountering and attempting to "Oppress" the First Amendment rights of (say) a couple of ex Rangers or Seals.
