CrowdStrike is partly owned by Dmitri Alperovitch, who is virulently anti-Putin. Blaming the 'hack' on Putin was natural for him.

That, coupled with the fact that the DNC, who claims to be so concerned with security, won't let the FBI examine the server and the fact that CrowdStrike refuses to testify makes the Russia claim highly suspect. Not to mention the fact that Julian Assange has already stated that Russia was NOT the source of the emails.

Then there is Seth Rich...

Wonder what the source of this right wing diversion is. The Seth Rich thing was hit with a major negative backlash, now this.

No, don't look at the incompetent clown Trump and his advisors nefarious connections, look at the people trying to expose him and point the finger at THEM!! Yes, we are really smart, turn the tables, yeah, Mark Levine 101.

All good and well, but there is this tweet

see New questions over claim Russia hacked the election | Daily Mail Online for a tabloid news story.

From the story above -

If Crowdstrike collected nearly a billion dollars on anti-Trump sentiment, fine and good, but it should be cooperating with the investigation of the alleged Russian hacks. If it recants the claim Russia hacked the DNC, then there is nothing anywhere even from a DNC friendly company and DNC supporters were bamboozled out of nearly a billion dollars by con artists posing as geeks.

Time will tell.
People and organizations almost always try to stay out of courts that are trying to prosecute them (especially if they can do so legally.) And even Donald Trumps lawyer refuses to cooperate with this investigation.

"The United States intelligence agencies concluded that the Russian government interfered in the 2016 United States elections. In January 2017, a U.S. intelligence community assessment expressed "high confidence" that Russia favored Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton."

"These conclusions were reaffirmed by the lead intelligence officials in the Trump administration in May 2017."

And during the 2016 election Donald Trump and Valdamer Putin often praised each other and spoke of working together. Donald Trump has held secret meetings with Russian officials in the White House, and Trump told those Russian officials that he fired the FBI director that was giving him trouble with the Russian investigation. Trump has shared classified Israeli intelligence with Russian officials. And Trump has broken US alliances with Asian and European countries while trying to make alliances with Russia. ex.ex.

Clearly an investigation is warranted in regards to these Russian matters.

Sure, I'm fine with that. As long as CrowdStrike's role is investigated, along with the DNC's role in the Russian fairy tale. Obama's role as leaker-in-Chief needs to be examined as well as Sally Yates, Susan Rice and Loretta Lynch. Valerie Jarrett obviously has to be pulled into this and the roles of CNN, WaPo and the NYT need to be examined also.

I'm all in. Are you sure Democrats will be when it starts getting ugly for them?

Russia regularly interferes in the elections of other countries like France, Germany, the Netherlands, ex.ex. And now there are allegations Russia interfered in America's 2016 election. It is Russia that needs to be investigated (that's why these investigations are called "Russia/Russian investigations."

Russia's meddling in other nations' elections is nothing new. Just ask the Europeans - LA Times

And conservative sources like the National Review say "Trump Brought the Special-Counsel Investigation on Himself."

Originally "the FBI was engaged in a counterintelligence, not a criminal, investigation as it relates to Russia (not an investigation of Donald Trump.)"

"But Trump’s ham-handed firing of FBI director James Comey, the White House’s misleading account of how and why Comey was ousted, and news that Trump personally asked Comey to drop the Flynn probe created enough of a cloud around the FBI investigation that deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein felt compelled to act."

Robert Mueller -- Trump Brought Special-Counsel Investigation on Himself | National Review

And the conservative Washington Examiner says "Trump brought a dying Russia investigation back to life", and it was the White House itself that started these new investigations.

How Trump brought a dying Russia investigation back to life

And now Trump supporters want to attack Hillary Clinton, CrowdStrike, the DNC, Obama, and CNN (when even conservative sources say Donald Trump 100% brought these new investigations on himself.)

I'm not trying time hijack this thread, because CrowdStrike's role in the Russian fairy tale is important. But here goes...Conservatives don't like Trump. Conservative web sites don't like Trump. Conservative writers are forever bashing Trump. They supported him reluctantly because it meant beating Hillary and they got Gorsuch. Democrats and conservatives have something in common, they'd both love to see Trump gone. But conservative web sites, writers and talking heads don't represent the unique amalgam of Trump voters, and they especially don't represent Republicans that voted for Trump. Personally, I think the Trump coalition is a one-off and I'll be surprised to see it last through 2020.

Back to the evil bastards at CrowdStrike...

You mix illegal surveillance of a presidential candidate by the opposition, mix in CrowdStrikes lies about Russia and you have the mess we have today.
Uh, no. The "mess we have today" is because there is a bumbling, inept, anti-social, lying, unfit, immature, man child leading this country right now. All of this s*** began on 1/20 and is getting worse by the day because he simply has no idea what the Hell he is doing and does not have the capacity to realize it.

THAT is the reality of the situation, whether you wish to see it or not.
