The only one dispelling propaganda is the fossil fuel industry.

Here are a couple facts for you:
  • The 22 Republican senators who wrote to Trump to back out of the Paris agreement collectively received over $10 million from oil, gas, and coal companies over the last three election cycles.
  • Sheldon Whitehouse (D), senator from Rhode Island said on TV a few months back that before Citizens United, he knew of six different Republican senators working on climate change bills. Once the Citizens United decision came to pass, that all immediately stopped. Because, now Republicans are under threat of being primaried (via Koch brother donations to the opposing candidates) if they speak out about climate change.

Now which is the simpler explanation? That all this climate change activism is part of some global conspiracy to enrich scientists or whatever other nefarious purpose you believe....or that there are big time businesses in the oil and gas industry that have a vested interest in you not believing in the threat of climate change?

I'm not big on calling out misspelled words and bad English, but if you want to call people ignorant you better make sure that your posts isn't rife with errors.

I did not bother to read all the rants, but a couple things should be made clear:
1. The Paris Climate Accords are basically a treaty. A treaty must be ratified by the Senate.
It wasn't. obama just signed for the United States. The accords are invalid.
2. Therefore, trump didn't have to pull out of the accords, they were never in effect for the United States. At the most, all he had to do was rescind obama's Executive Action.
3. We certainly can not afford to commit any money to foreign governments for anything. In fact, we need to cut back on what we are spending (sending overseas).
4. The individual States of the United States are forbidden by the Constitution from making any agreements with foreign governments. Therefore, CA, WA, and NY cannot make their own "climate accords". Yes, they might get away with making their own inter-state agreements, which would be of doubtful utility.

I bet that so many people who are now so angry that Trump pulled us out of it had never even heard of the Paris Accord. People are such posers. Like jumping on the Betsy DeVos hate band wagon. How many people knew who the Secretary of Education was before her? How many people knew whether that person was "qualified"? How many people even knew that a Secretary of Education existed? When people hate someone so much, every move they make will also be hated, whether they know a thing about it, and had in the past, or not.

The US could have stayed in the Paris Agreement without paying another penny.

Why Trump Is Seeing Red About the 'Green Climate Fund' - NBC News

About ten states have joined the US Climate Alliance in just two days. At least two of the states have Republican governors. There is opportunity and jobs with the technology that will be coming out of this. Not that red states grasp that because they think those educated people are so "elitist".

How much of the worlds reserves of coal, natural gas and oil does France have? Compared to the US?

Since energy is the primary driver of an economy forgive me for being a little but skeptical about your doom and gloom predictions.

Trump did the right thing. The US for years has been improving our environment without the EU dictating terms and conditions to the US>

This morning the NY Times made the comment that small to medium business are relieved that Trump backed out. This would destroy small business and hold back our economy. Large international companies love this because the cause and effect of competition going away.

Not to mention the long term burden to the US TAX Payer.

Up to 100 trillion dollars by some sources. Of course this varies fro Trill right up the scale. As we know any Government can not be trusted with this much revenue.

As mention I have read several articles and the EU wants American money and to draw us into the EU. One could even take this into the first steps of a One World Government. The Environment is a perfect tool to achieve this.

Talk about world wide socialism?

Hello. I sent you that rep. You asked the question "should I shut up?" and I simply answered with "Yes. Worry about your own country". I stand by that. I find your tone rather snide, and I doubt any true sincerity behind your inquiry. You have your own problems that should concern you, and the United States backing out of a bad deal really shouldn't be one of them.

I'm a woman by the way. So take your feminist snark and stuff it.
