Trump is facing bigger problems than what slogan to use in his 2020 run.

One thing that none of us can deny is that Trump's core supporters are still going to hang in there regardless. He could do anything and they would still not leave him. Part of it is because they hate to admit they were wrong, but another part is that some of them still believe he will make a difference.

I too am surprised it it still in the mid 30's, after all the scandals and the fact that he has not accomplished squat in 7 months. But, as we see on here daily, some of his strongest supporters would fall on their swords for him, and thank him for the opportunity. He struck a cord with them, and it hasn't gone away yet.

And let's be honest. Who (other than the cult) thinks he's actually going to want to run again in 2020? He already said he hates this job, it's too hard, and he misses his old life.

2020 would be an easy way out, so not sure he puts himself through another 4 years. Not that I think he will have the ability to make that decision from prison.

He won't run it would be too embarrassing for him to run again after all this. Unless he's crazier then we think he is.

Anyone notice this board is very inline with general public opinion? Every poll here, around 1/3 worship Trump, while 2/3 think he's a dumpster fire.

Agreed. I think it doesn't matter what he will do (or won't do,) they will support it. It's too bad they can't channel that support into a cause that matters, like ending domestic violence or animal cruelty. The world would be a much better place, instead of crazy, stupid, and dysfunctional

Actually, Trump won the election.

The popular vote was split between four candidates, and since the vote difference between Trump and Hillary is less that the number of votes that were cast for other candidates, Hillary has no logical claim to the popular vote either.

Plurality in a four-way race is as meaningless a victory as can be had.

It seems it should be about 20%, if that.

She didn't win the popular vote.

It was a four candidate race in which no one received a majority of the votes and the difference between Clinton and Trump was a fraction of the votes cast for others.

If the difference between Trump and Clinton were greater than the number of votes cast for other candidates, she would have won the popular vote, but it wasn't, so she didn't.
