It's interesting to read the difference in view between here, and other discussion forums.

We're mostly Republican here, about 75% OR so. Here its about comeys testimony not being as bad as expected, and excuses for the bad parts.

In areas with a younger audience they view the released statement as incredibly damning.

I think they still have faith in right and wrong, whereas we often discuss the criminality of things. Not right and wrong often, but legal and illegal. They fully believe Trump should be impeached over trying to get the investigation if Flynn dropped. They're offended by the loyalty questions.

Are we so jaded Here? Apparently. Right and wrong isnt the debate here.

"Right" and "wrong". We live in a nation, so-called "society", which rests entirely upon the fictional right to use aggression to get what we want. We live in a country that enslaves some for the benefit of others while using the thug government to impose our personal will upon our neighbors for us. We are supposed to know "right" from "wrong"...LOL

Yeah, if stupid was a crime, Donald Trump would have been hung a long time ago. But some of his "stupidity" verges on inappropriateness, and that will probably be what does him in. There are certain things you just do not say to an agency that is investigating something.

Oh look at you. This is what I mean. You think its all about legal or illegal, and ignore if its right or wrong. "collusion is not a crime" might be the best example of this. It may not directly be a crime (although a TON of things caused by it are), but its darned well wrong.

When did we stop asking ourselves if something was right or wrong, and just started asking if they were legal or illegal?

The problem with their thinking is that it is the legal and illegal that surrounds impeachment. Not "feelings." I hope they are not law students. So many "feelings" are why many of us are tired of all of this.

"We"? Nope. Your question should be directed to the Trump Deranged. The rest of us already know what is right and wrong.

Wonder why they are offended by the loyalty question?

That is why we are a nation of Laws, not a nation of Feelings.
