Spouting Russian collusion again and Trump bribed Comey. what????
Pulling things out of the air to make a case even when it makes no sense.
They are in panic mode. They've got to keep their narrative going and are back to throwing sh*t against the wall in the hopes that something will stick.
Can someone please explain to me how a random unemployed citizen (Comey) would know whether or not the FBI is investigating Trump on June 8, 2017?
I can't get an answer to this.
He may know any number of things since that conversation with Trump. He may even know some things since his firing. Discussions of intent and direction may well go on after separation...it happens. .
I agree, he sounded incompetent with his questions. Like he had no clue what he was asking. Time for him to retire.
He just got re elected. He should have had the sense not to run for another six years but he's one of these politicians that can't imagine their lives without being in the spot light.
If Trump had a tape, why would Comey need to leak his memo? He would have known it was a preserved conversation.
Comey was self-serving. He brought Lynch in to excuse his behavior with Clinton and leaked info from an ongoing investigation to try to cover his butt and regain his reputation.
And Comey refused to state Trump wasn't under investigation knowing he could drag the investigation out. Also interesting that no Republicans leaked that info and the Dems kept trying to make Trump a focal point.
Comey has stated under oath that he didn't feel pressured to end the investigation, but goes to extreme lengths to cast the President in a negative light. All while admitting he is a leaker (that can't comment on an ongoing investigation).
Comey is a swamp creature that was appropriately drained by Trump and he doesn't like it. Oh well, he can apply for a job in 2024 when the left elects Maxine Waters to the presidency.
But I take note that you don't seem to be bothered that Obama actually did force Comey to do so when it came to Hillary Clinton.
He didn't. Loretta Lynch did. She asked for it to be described as a "matter" instead of an "investigation." Thankfully, Comey didn't do that. It was wrong. It reaffirms many of the issues people already have with Clinton and why she lost the election.
However, Clinton isn't president. If she was, she should (and would) be under investigation for that. Trump is the president. And he, not one of his staff, directly asked the director of the FBI to let the Flynn thing go. If it's not OK for someone in the Obama administration to do it, it's not OK for President Trump himself to do it.
If you want to make the argument that the Dems. did something similar, you'd be right. However, Lynch is gone, Hillary isn't president, and neither is Obama anymore. Donald Trump is. And he deserves to face the music for it.
Trump haters are living in an alternate reality where the Democratic Party is stronger than ever and Trump is just one step away from impeachment and destroying the GOP
Wrong. Trump has already destroyed the Grand Old Party. It is now a subsidiary of Trump Organization, historically run by one individual. Donald John Trump. Where ya been since June, 2016?
I was driving in the car when I heard him & I thought his questioning was terrible--referencing "President Comey" & getting everyone confused; even Comey had to help him out a few times. I couldn't see the body language or facial expressions but McCain's lack of clarity and coherent questioning came through loud & clear.
