The excuse for making heroin illegal was, they claimed it made black men rape white women.

Ha ha! -riding a donkey is no prep for driving a viper.

Probably would have been hard to drive with those holes in his hands, as well.

Because when you're on the influence of drugs and hurt someone, damage their property or hurt yourself, who has to pay for that? Because when you're on drugs and can't or are not in the frame of mind to get up early and go to work, who's going to pay for your cost of living expenses? Because after years of drug use and you're health is ruined, who's going to pay for all your medical expenses? If your answer is "everyone else", I'd say you're right.

Are you saying we should ban all unhealthy food?

Sounds like he is saying we should ban all unhealthy food, all unhealthy activities, all unhealthy religions, pretty much anything that can be deemed unhealthy.

Cause there are already laws against damaging property and natural consequences to spending all of your money on drugs, the only thing left is the "we have to subsidize them through insurance" argument which could be used logically to justify banning fried chicken.

Does bad food alter the thought process and/or health of the user? Yeah, we ban food with e coli, botulism, etc.

Of course it does, and it does not even have to be infected with e-coli or any other microbial illnesses to do so. Did you really just ask this question?
