What did Trump say against Sikhs? .. must of missed that .

Also pretty sure Sikhs have faced discrimination under Obama,Bush ,Clinton and before that .

Kind of tired of these liberal media headlines trying to link/blame Trump for everything ..

I don't think they can really blame Trump for that. Racist and ignorant people will always be racist and ignorant people, no matter who is the president.

American Sikhs support Trump

Quote:
Washington: US President Donald Trump‘s executive order on religious liberty reflects his commitment to protecting religious freedom of all Americans, a prominent member of the Sikh American community in the US has said.
Founder of ‘Sikh Americans for Trump’, Jasdip Singh alleged that for political reasons “certain vested sections” of the society and community members are blaming the President for the rise in hate crimes in the US.

“Protecting religious freedom was one of the centerpieces of President Trump’s campaign. He strongly believes this is a first-amendment right, and that no one should be punished— especially by the federal government — for standing up for their moral beliefs and not violating their conscience,” Singh said.

President Trump on Thursday signed the order on religious freedom, which directs the Treasury Department to not take “adverse action” over churches or religious organisations for political speech.

Well, the only people they should blame are terrorists (not muslims) and those ignorant folks who don't have any common sense.

There are many reasons not to like Trump, but this is not one of them.

I have a friend whose grandpa was interned during ww2. (They were Japanese). His grandpa said there were many Chinese, Koreans, and other Asians wearing a sign says (I am not a J ap) outside because they were afraid of being attacked. Can you blame them? You can't.

Who is the president makes zero difference.

Yeah, I'm not sure being ignorant is Trumps fault. I too once thought they were something they are not, until I did some research and actually ended up becoming friends with one. Work friends but we still talk and lunch together.
They have a fascinating story, and they originated from warriors.

The white supremacists (and plain old bigots) who supported him now feel emboldened to be as obnoxious, and sometimes as violent, as they want. Geez--they called Trump 'their glorious leader' and campaigned for him.

When did Trump ever signal any of his supporters to be inclusive and tolerant of those that are different?

This thread is either extremely naive or extremely disingenuous. Not buying the faux outrage at this Sikh's comments.
