It is a bit unclear. Unusual for Donald JOHN Trump.

My first thought was that President Trump was referring to Mr. Mueller, since it was reported that Mr. Trump had interviewed said person for the FBI position. But that does not make sense, since he would not have conducted said interview until after Comey had been fired.

Perhaps he does mean Rosenstein. No doubt, he will explain all later.

He does either have Alzheimer's or is certifiable.

He simply cannot remember what he says from one day to the next because he says whatever thought comes into his head at the moment...and then it's gone, literally, gone.

Something seriously wrong going on in that brain.

In any event. These type of dumb remarks simply reflect how totally unfit he is for this office.

“[Rosenstein] made a recommendation, but regardless of recommendation I was going to fire Comey, knowing there was no good time to do it,” Trump said. “And, in fact, when I decided to just do it, I said to myself, I said,..."

Most of us do not believe everything that we hear. We are content to let the special prosecutor do his job and let the chips fall where they may

Again, Trump is the cause of 99.9% of his own problems.
Exactly! Imagine if Trump didn't have access to twitter and focused on his job?

Still waiting for further details on the 3 or 5 million illegal votes, evidence that Obama wiretapped him, whether he has the tapes of conversations with Comey... so I don't have high hopes here.

Whatever happened to "the buck stops here"? Trump listens to no one, so it's laughable to think someone "told" him to fire Comey.

****ING THIS!

I'd be positively neutral is he'd just shut his stupid mouth about it. Instead, it's constant finger pointing or deflecting. He's like an actual toddler was elected president.

And frankly, I still sometimes find myself just in a surreal state of disbelief as I watch the guy from the apprentice and the celebrity apprentice being the president. It's not a partisan thing... it's just bizarre.
