President Trump’s budget calls for sharply reducing funding for programs that shelter the poor and combat homelessness — with a notable exception: It leaves intact a type of federal housing subsidy that is paid directly to private landlords.

One of those landlords is Trump himself, who earns millions of dollars each year as a part-owner of Starrett City, the nation’s largest subsidized housing complex. Trump’s 4 percent stake in the Brooklyn complex earned him at least $5 million between January of last year and April 15, according to his recent financial disclosure.

The federal government has paid the partnership that owns Starrett City more than $490 million in rent subsidies since May 2013, according to figures provided by a spokesman for the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Nearly $38 million of that has come since Trump took office in January.
American's have gone crazy, to be so Openly Fleeced and a segment of society is in support of having themselves Fleeced in such ways.

It's the most insane thing every in American History .... It proves there is nothing more detrimental to American, that the Republican Mindset and Motivations. It does not matter who does not like the partisan Truth to be told.... the Truths remain being the Truth.

It is purely unbelievably insidious that people still have devotion to the Republican Party, it tells us that the end of America is closer and closer.... It tells the world, how much ignorance is pervasive in America.....

America limped through a few 100 yrs with every kind of vile one can imagine, but nations that respect "all" their people will continue to move forward as American still spins in the bigotry and bias that was the make up of its past, and racism is more overtly displayed than even that during earlier periods of time.

We have an Administration who is promoting a Death Sentence to the Poor and Elderly, and have no concern even for the children of the working poor and the poor. Devos is making sure of that!!!

Likely there will be a rebellion and it is likely to be initiated by the working poor and dire poor whites, when or if they ever wake up and see what they've done to themselves. It takes for them, situations where their money and benefits are cut, that is the only thing that will awaken them, because money and benefits has always been their first love and the first thing they devote themselves to. Generally, much of white society, only awakens when it comes to money. Humanitarian things, rarely move many of them, but Humanitarian things move the more liberal minded whites first and foremost. The right winger segment of society, is only moved when they realize their publicly provided money and publicly provided benefit are cut and taken away.
They will back anything, including signing up to be fleeced on the Tax scam of the Administration, when they continue to fall for the duping of "Trickle Down Gaming". Once was not enough, they are ready with a whole new generation to fall for the same thing over again. They have a difficulty with learning, because they realy so much on "Selective Amnesia", until they set their own next generation up to become the new pool of the "easily fleeced"... and they will continue doing it for generations to come.

Again it goes to what LBJ tried to warn the working poor and poor white man of, Decades Ago:

"If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, ... Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you."
They never understood what he was telling them... so they adhered to the exact thing of which he tried to give them warnings against becoming........ "Bigoted, bias and racial foolishness" !!!!!
Here we are Today 50+ yrs later.....and his words rings as true now, as they did then.

"openly fleeced" - Our debt almost doubled in eight years and we all watched as the debt ceiling became a speed bump. THAT'S being openly fleeced.

"the most insane thing every in American History" - no it's not... stop with the hyperbole

This has to pass through Congress. So they have to cosign it.

If you want to be real, let go of Selective Amnesia and you will know that the debt escalation started during the Bush Adminstration, it did not shut off like flipping a light switch when he left office. Maybe figure out what a "devastated economy was in 2007 and what is, was and still is the escalating cost of war and the post-war cost that still mount, as well as the latent cost of a devastated economy, then you might get an inkling of what led to massive debt increase.

Don't let "Selective Amnesia" keep you blinded.... at some point its time to wake up...
You can call it hyperbole, if that makes you feel better, but it won't make the truth vanish....

Hmmmm... That's just about what conservatives think of Democrats summed up very nicely. Georgia was a tough loss yesterday. I get your anger.

Does that make you feel better? Like I said, keep lining up to be fleeced, and make up what ever phrase you desire to accept it.

Georgia only proves the point made in the post... It is not a mystery that you missed that.
