This is bigger than lefties want to admit.

CNN deletes, retracts story linking Trump and Russia

Quote:
Frank, a Pulitzer Prize finalist in 2012 while at USA Today, had reported that the Senate Intelligence Committee was investigating a “$10-billion Russian investment fund whose chief executive met with a member of President Donald Trump’s transition team four days before Trump’s inauguration.”

In addition to retracting its story, CNN also apologized to Anthony Scaramucci, an adviser to Trump during the presidential campaign and a member of his transition team’s executive committee...

While the left brays like donkeys and attempts to deflect from the topic, the fact is, CNN is losing credibility and sinking faster than the Titanic.

The best part of all is that they got caught by Breitbart.

It is a big deal if the CNN bosses are going after the source and/or reporter who dared write a fake news story. It shows CNN's intolerance for fake news.

If ALL of their stories were fake and easily proven to be fake -- they wouldn't be making a big deal of this.

You MISSED the point.

The did NOT do the retraction because they screwed up and found their mistake.

The did the retraction BECAUSE OTHERS found what they had said was NOT true.

In simple terms, they ONLY did the retraction BECAUSE they got CAUGHT.

If this was the first time it could be overlooked.

Unfortunately it happens ALL the time with CNN.

"I'll always take CNN"

Of course you do. Do you think we did NOT know that already?

Easy Answer.

They were called out by Breitbart.

And then BuzzFeed for not printing a retraction.

Really doesn't get any better than that.

And yet you have people here who continue to defend CNN as a credible news source.

They retracted it, all is well.
You can apologize for them all you want and it will go NOWHERE.

CNN will CONTINUE to post things it "hears" without investigating to see if is true or not, just as as they have been doing ever since its inception, as long as it is against repubs.

It WAS stared by the very liberal Ted Turner.

It wasn't called the Clinton News Network for nothing during Bill Clinton's time.

That is how credible news organizations act as opposed to right-wing blogs and fake news web sites where you apparently get your news.

BTW, where do you get your news?
A "credible" new organization would wait until they had multiple independent sources. Another news organization is NOT a source.

"because they are integral to the political health of the nation."

With their HISTORY, they are part of what is bring our nation DOWN.

How many times do you believe a liar in your personal life?

CNN has been caught so many times that they do NOT have any credibility.

From what I read, it t wasn't Breitbart it was Buzzfeed -- but they both begin with the later 'B'.
