As so often happens, the Professor has made a very legitimate point but has picked a very unfortunate example with very bad timing to do it. More than saying anything about the Professor or the Warmbier incident per se, this story speaks volumes about the dangers of social media. Of all the places to "think before you speak," Facebook and Twitter have to be at the top of the list - but in reality, "speaking before you think" is the norm. Well, the Professor has gotten her 15 minutes of fame and that's all we really want anyway, right?
Stronger action should have been taken by our government/Obama when his capture first happened. Such a tragic and heartbreaking loss of life. How insensitive for this professor to say this. His family will never be the same because of his loss.
Obama was interested in helping traitors like Bergdahl, illegals and foreign refugees. Warmbier didn't fit the profile of someone Obama was interested in helping.

What "legitimate" point did she make? A generalization about rich white males who rape women in the US and get away with it all the time? That's a stupid lie right there. Plus she's assuming because Otto was white and his parents had money, that automatically makes him an entitled little sh*t that rapes women and gets away with it, and because of that he deserved to be punished by North Korea. And Otto's parents are ultimately responsible for his death because they raised an entitled little sh*t privileged white male.
There is NOTHING legitimate about her post at all.

I didn't read the article because I don't even want to know what party she's in. I've seen comments on FB from both parties that have been very judgmental about this guy's choices. I don't think any of it is necessary... obviously, he's a mistake, but no one "deserves" that.
When these people go to North Korea they know what they are dealing with. No? Then someone needs to educate them real quick before making that disastrous trip. You would think by now everyone would steer clear of that country. It doesn't take much for them to throw you in jail. When they do you are subject to who knows what.
