They will grant the case and issue a stay ..... or at least stay part of the cases.
They almost have to -- at it's heart, these are cases that deny the President of the United States authority over immigration. SCOTUS can't ignore that.
The stay allows the travel ban to resume for anyone who does not have a "relationship to the United States" (a relative that lives here). Those that DO have a "relationship with the USA" will be allowed to have a Travel Visa.
They will hear the case in October when the Court is back in Session.
The point of the ban in the first place was to examine the vetting process for those few countries that don't have a working government to furnish documentation. The Court cases were always ridiculous.
I'm sure that the State Department has been working all this time to attempt to put process in place.
Right....this is how I understand it. They can enforce the ban against anyone who doesn't already have a legal reason to be here.
