McConnell will get it done. There will be a bill, it will effectively gut Medicaid, increase health care costs for Americans while doing very little to repeal the core of the ACA, cut taxes for the wealthly while providing a cushion for further cuts in tax reform. He will get this done with back room dollars for votes deals that will take the form of amendments. Certain states might even be exempted from some cuts. There is not going to be any bipartisanship about it. Anyone who thinks otherwise is naive.
Sums it up.
It will be interesting to see the reactions from the people who have had a taste of not worrying about being able to afford decent insurance.

Yep, he's got a huge slush fund with which to buy votes. This is how the GOP works. 85% of the country opposes this POS, but they will buy the legislation with our tax dollars regardless.
Would it really be a bad thing if Dems and republicans work together to better people's lives?
Not at all, but Republicans don't want to work with Dems, because Dems won't allow them to destroy people's healthcare for a massive tax cut for the rich. McConnell actually used working with Dems as a threat against his lemmings.
