It's a bit disingenuous to chastise others for their critical responses to an incident like this when one's own response is limited to criticizing the opinions of others, and demonstrates zero compassion for the actual victims.

Stick to the script...repeat after me: violence only happens at rap shows where "those people" congregate!

You're more likely to have violence at a concert which atttracts drunk people with little to lose or a concert that would attract gang members.
What is the likelihood violence breaks out at a broadway performance of Rent? Exceptionally low.
What is the likelihood of violence breaking out at a country concert where there will be a fair number of Cletus types that tend to drink way too much and have an arrest history of assaults? Much higher.
What is the likelihood of violence breaking out at a concert attracting gang members and their rivals? Even greater.
It wasn't that long ago such incidents were taking place with white gang members. Since minorities tend to fill the gang ranks today, gang violence will tend to involve minorities.
Don't worry, white people still do the gang mentality thing when it comes to sports teams. It's only a matter of time until the next "my team lost" riot.

What does compassion for the victims get us, Nor Cal? It makes everyone feel good for a minute, and then the next mass shooting comes along. It's an endless cycle that no one wants to talk about stopping. At some point the compassion starts to ring hollow if we're not willing to do something about it.
