Guess you haven't noticed him destroying the 1st Amendment or committing crimes and abusing power with no consequence? Or that Fox news is now essentially state run media.
Since our Checks and Balance system is no longer functioning, he's essentially a dictator.
Really? And just how does one destroy the first amendment? I would think in order to change the first amendment, you would need another constitutional amendment. I haven't heard of anything like that happened.
Your post is a bit melodramatic at best and paranoid at it's worst, or are you just fear mongering to try and get your anti-Trump message across.
So CNN has every right to smear the President 24/7 but the President has no right to fight back...Awh...poor little snow flakes!!!
HE'S the snowflake; jeez!! Since when didn't presidents expect to get harsh questions and criticism? What did he think he was running for, "Big Fat Apprentice Two, White House edition?" Give me a break.

A President is supposed to act better than most people. He sets the standard for the world, and should be classy, intellectual, and conduct himself with the utmost integrity.
George Washington exemplified the dignity and character needed for this office, and it's why the the US Presidency has endured for so long, and become the model for other nations.
“A deportment so firm, so dignified, but yet so modest and composed, I have never seen in any other person,” said James Monroe of George Washington. Other contemporaries agreed, including Abigail Adams, who said: “He is polite with dignity, affable without formality, distant without haughtiness, grave without austerity, modest, wise, and good. These are traits in his character which peculiarly fit him for the exalted station he holds ….” But Washington’s dignity did more than comfort his followers. As David Brooks wrote in 2009: “Washington … came to personify what you might call the dignity code. The code was based on the same premise as the nation’s Constitution — that human beings are flawed creatures who live in constant peril of falling into disasters caused by their own passions. … The dignity code … commanded its followers to be reticent — to never degrade intimate emotions by parading them in public. It also commanded its followers to be dispassionate — to distrust rashness, zealotry, fury ….” https://pintsofhistory.com/2017/06/2...he-presidency/
Washington expect his successors to behave equally dignified.
Trump has destroyed the very model of the Presidency Washington created. The very foundation that our nation was built on is being destroyed intentionally, and you guys cheer it on.
Which means you guys actually hate America and its foundation. You don't want us to succeed anymore as we have for so many years. You want us to be a 2nd rate dictatorship or oligarchy. You hold no standards of esteemed character to the office of Presidency anymore.

Oh...do you mean like not spying on fellow citizens???

Ban the press from events, refuse to allow press briefings/limit on camera briefings, lie from podium by Press secretary, convince the public the media is the enemy of the people, install State run media.
All destroy the power and integrity of the Freedom of the Press. The Press here is being treated how 3rd world dictatorships treat the Press. It's an enormous threat to the survival of this country.
