Do you even know how presidential stays overseas are handled? Neither do I. You think the White House goes on Booking.com and picks a room, preferably facing the beach? It is the duty of the host country to make this arrangement. If indeed this is what happened, Merkel never gets the invite to come here. It's on her.

That's what I was thinking. Can you believe so many pages about nothing. Working on page 6 here.

What a great speech he gave in Poland. Guess these people missed it while they were minding his business. These anti-Trump posters have to be the lowest class people on the face of the earth. Let's not worry about the good job our president is doing. Let's get stuck on where he will sleep tonight. And yes, there is a bed on that very beautiful plane. They took care of what mattered. They got him there safely. Every time I see our military in action, it makes me feel safe and proud. Our troops are absolutely the best in the world.

Reservations filled up in mid 2016 for the G-20 -- many of the Security Services demand the entire Hotel for the exclusive use of a World Leader - just as they always did for President Obama. How clumsy of President Trump to not have made his reservations when he had not even won the Republican Primary. I guess there was nobody in Washington D.C. at the State Department or in White House Travel that made reservations in 2016 for the 2017 Summit ...... or perhaps they just released the rooms they had reserved for the Presumptive Queen when she failed to earn her Crown.

Added to all that - the G-20 attracts Anarchists from around the world, it was expected that 10,000 would come to Hamburg to "protest" the G-20. It is 10 times that amount -- 100,000. The City and all hotels are wrapped in layers of Barb Wire, Fencing, Police squads - the Anarchist began burning last week. They brought out the Water Cannons and Bear Spray today. It looks like a War Zone.

Poor President Trump - he will have to stay in the same Hamburg Accommodations that the President of the European Commission (most powerful man in the EU) stays in when he is in Hamburg - The Horror!

-
A Luxury Villa on a damned area of the river to form a Lake - quite a "little apartment in the best neighborhood in Hamburg

It certainly all makes for a Dandy Headline for the Anti-American USA Press ...... how disgusting they are - Trump Hate is all they can think of. The Total Hysterical Meltdown continues.
Excuses, excuses and more excuses. Let's lower the bar even more for the guy who knows more about ISIS than the generals. Mr know it all. Mr SIX bankruptcies.

The most powerful "man" in the EU is actually Angela Merkel. Money talks and BS walks. Everybody knows Germany calls the shots in the EU.

Mr Tajani, president of the European Parliament, is from Italy-not very influential. Barroso, a Portuguese, is history.

Trump talked a lot during the campaign about how great he is. You should expect people to scrutinize everything he does.

Don't get miffed when some people don't praise him.

So what is the real story here?

The outgoing administration did not reserve a hotel for the incoming Pres whether it was Clinton or Trump?

Strange.

This is the G20 summit, not a Presidential visit so the onus is on those visiting to organise their own accommodation.

The city (Hamburg) was known but the dates were not set in February 2016.
Note that the 2018 G20 Summit will be in Buenos Aires but as of today (June 2017) the dates are still TBD,

I would bet Germany did this on purpose. They are vindictive like that.

Trump looks pretty tired on tv this morning. Maybe he spent the night in a limo.
