WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday backtracked on his push for a cyber security unit with Russia, tweeting that he did not think it could happen, only hours after promoting it following his talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"The fact that President Putin and I discussed a Cyber Security unit doesn't mean I think it can happen. It can't," Trump said on Twitter. He then noted that an agreement with Russia for a ceasefire in Syria "can & did" happen.
Trump backtracks on cyber unit with Russia after harsh criticism

Is there ANYTHING President Flip-Flo.... HASN'T backtracked on?

I'll believe the ceasefire when it lasts longer than a few hours, and when we know the details. I'm sure LAMEBRAIN had very little (if anything to do with it) since he has absolutely no policy regarding anything....and doesn't have the first clue about drafting such an agreement!

Just this morning Reince was saying the cyber partnership was a great accomplishment for trump.

I have never seen such a screwed-up administration.

You say screwed up I say trolling the hell out of the whiners. We ALL knew he was trolling by seriously claiming they were going to set up a cyber partnership...while I am perfectly fine with it,the establishment GOP wouldn't pass anything or allow it to happen. It was funny watching the gnashing of teeth the past 24 hours though.

Well, that's one way to look at it. Why you think it's an admirable thing is beyond me, but oh well.

I think a more likely scenario is that someone (or more likely someseveral) banged Trump upside the head in no uncertain terms.

So one of the official channels for our president (per them...saying his Twitter rantings and the like are official seems silly) ...is where he goofs off and trolls his citizens, per you. Sure, sounds mature and all. If this is "modern day presidential", I say....no thanks.

I actually feel sorry for the GOP, having to deal with this imbecile, but it's their own fault allowing him to be a nominee, and letting him play King longer than 1-month.If they don't get rid of him soon, he will destroy the GOP past saving!

I thought he said on the campaign that he would cut down Twitter as President. And now he is the President. Sorry for wanting our president, whoever it is, to act better than a 13 year old or something. How quaint of me.

I don't remember him saying that no. Its the only way he can around the lying leftist media and connect right to his supporters and the country.

More like an 8 year old! He has neither the intelligence, maturity, or even the reading comprehension of a teen. You know he didn't even write his own books, a ghostwriter did, and he has to have the Daily Briefing read-to-him!
