So, if you make a reservation and the business does NOT honor that reservation you would be OK with it

I doubt it.

A reservation, is a reservation Sorry!

I think you are trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Typical wild exaggerations is the norm with some of you.

"I'm sure that somewhere in the fine print.."

Don't be "sure" and make substantiated assumptions.

PROVE it or DON'T "assume " anything.

Do you REALLY think that by using juvenile insults people will think of YOU as "relevant"?

It is time for YOU to grow up!

On many planes, even in coach there is more room at the emergency exits doors

She SPECIFICALLY PRE-BOOKED AND PAID EXTRA in order to get one of these seats.

When you PAY for something ypu SHOULD get it.

Just substitute "US" with Delta and you have it.

All deregulation did was harm safety and service and made good jobs into sweat shop jobs with no future.

The good days of Pan American, TWA, Northwest, American...long gone when the US flew the entire world safely, in comfort with great service and affordable.

Just look at healthcare-same thing.

Cessna-310 hence your name? Approaching retirement I had to give mine up, airplanes make boats look cheap, and I miss it.

Today I hate flying so much if the trip is less than a thousand miles I'll drive and I mean it. I can make a thousand miles in 15 hours and that is hassle-free compared to the BS you got to put up with airport security since we allowed Muslims in.

Delta has First Class, Delta Comfort, and Main Cabin zones. AFAIK you don't pay extra for emergency exit rows (extra leg room) but just have to book earlier to get it. I don't see a pay extra for extra leg room when trying to book on the Delta site.

Normally when you book a seat with more space it costs more. E.g., JetBlue has "Even More Space Seats" that cost anywhere from $15 to $65 extra, depending on the flight. So, yes, it would be wrong to pay for the space and not get it.

But Delta says she was in the same row--just a different seat, so she still had the extra space. Not sure why she freaked out--maybe she booked aisle and was put in the middle? But she did not have the space she paid for taken away.

I'm sure after this, she'll get something out of it--credit or free flight. She posted the family's picture publicly to embarrass them. What a witch.
