Trump is running scared on this one and threatening to fire Mueller over it. He is using some lame excuse that Mueller is exceeding his authority, but we all know it is just like when he ditched Comey for getting too close to the truth.
If Trump fires Mueller he has gone too far and needs impeached immediately. The GOP better get some balls on this one or they are dead.
Since the GOP is the "PARTY OF CORRUPTION", I wouldn't hold my breath!
And now his business dealings are going to be investigated. Funny how a "community activist" had a scandal-free administration and the "businessman" has had nothing but scandals from the moment he raised his hand and took his oath.
Yup. ALL this having happened, stemming from one, big fat LIAR. I knew it was going to be a joke and a waste of everyone's time, right from the start. 😦
If you haven't noticed, tRump is now seriously bad-mouthing Jeff Sessions, saying that he's on thin ice.
If he gets rid of Sessions to replace him with a more "loyal" AG, it'll be very interesting to see if the GOP senate lays down for it or if those Pubs will begin to act like Americans instead of hyperpartisan lapdogs. Because tRump's next step would be to order his new AG to fire Mueller.
These are indeed "interesting times" and we'll soon see that America will divided along these lines:
Patriots vs partisans
How far will the GOP go in supporting tRump's unethical and illegal behavior?
Nope. I don't have to prove a thing. The special investigation, along with two congressional investigations are in the process of doing that. Stay tuned for their findings.
I've got better things to do with my life than follow this crap. Hillary lost, which is what is really driving the entire issue. Trump crashed the party.
Seriously.
Trump was hired to try to clean things up.
LET HIM DO HIS JOB
Didn't you hear, after six months, one can no longer refer to his opponent.
He crashed the party, alright and everything else. He has had a "job" for six months and has not cleaned up anything, just created more rubbish.
Since you have got better things to do than follow this, well, then... see ya.
Can't find the article now, but recently read where it is not just Deutsch Bank backing Trump's endeavors, but there is a bank division that handles investments from others and it directs money to Trump as well.
Has anyone seen that and can post the link?
Not sure if you're asking for a link to this info?
Trump’s Interests vs. America’s, Pensions Edition
In at least seven states, government employees are obligated, via their pension funds, to invest in a company that operates one of the president’s New York hotels.
Quote:
...Now, two advocacy organizations, Free Speech for People and the Courage Campaign, are trying to bring attention to another potential violation of the domestic emoluments clause. The two groups are circulating petitions about public pension funds in several states, including California, New York, and Texas, that invest in CIM Fund III, a real-estate company that owns the Trump SoHo Hotel and Condominium in New York City. Though the details of most of the Trump Organization’s licensing agreements are private, the licensing deal for Trump SoHo, according to The New York Times, gives the Trump Organization equity in the property, meaning that the president’s company profits based on how well Trump SoHo performs. That means that the pension funds, which are drawn from mandatory deductions from the paychecks of more than 5 million public-sector employees across seven states, are therefore indirectly paying the Trump Organization to operate Trump SoHo.
These pension funds create a conflict of interest that corrupts the relationship between state and federal governments. Jed Shugerman, a law professor at Fordham University, says the domestic emoluments clause was written to avoid such a scenario:
Quote:
The reason why the framers put the domestic emoluments clause in the Constitution is because they were concerned about the relationships of states vs. other states. Could big states, could rich states, wield more influence over the federal governments? One way that they worried rich states could wield more influence is by paying presidents directly. To avoid even the appearance of improper influence, they created a blanket rule: no emoluments from states.
So, the pension funds create exactly the possibility the framers feared. ...
Deutsche Bank had already conducted a 'close internal examination' of Mr. Trump's accounts because again, it was part of 'routine compliance' in matters of this type to do the 'closer review' of PEPs (Politically Exposed Persons).
Mr. Trump became a 'PEP' when he announced his run for the presidency, banks typically subject PEPs to stricter compliance scrutiny.

Trump needs to immediately fire this idiot and the Clinton lawyers he brought on.
This is what a deplorable has much difficulty understanding. I.e. attempted murder is still a crime, even if you fail at the objective.
And, as a fall back position, we get to watch Trump's administration, reputation, retirement and family businesses destroyed very publicly. Now there is some reality TV worth watching!
Yes. I knew it would ultimately catch up with him, "being placed in this position" in order to be exposed and caught.
Trump needs to immediately fire this idiot and the Clinton lawyers he brought on.
That would be the end of Trump.
