Well, fortunately this is just what the Republican healthcare plans are designed to achieve, and then some. Republicans are environmentalists after all!
The reasoning behind the death agendas are quite disparate however. Republican corporate types WA t a younger workforce that doesn't require medical assistance and can work 20 hour days making money for their business interests and ensuring they have the best, gold plated medical care that will keep them alive well into their 100s enjoying the fruits of those profits. And they can concentrate on eliminating pesky profit trimmers like overtime and even having to worry about providing any worker benefits.
The leftist Dems want all we Boomers dead so they can advance all their social and environmental agendas. Wages will be replaced by government stipends, workers placed in positions determined by government testing while in school, disarming the citizenry, expanding government into all aspects of our lives, state controlled industry (to oversee cli.ate change regs of course) ensuring that everything is drawn up on skin color and sexual preferences, (we mustegislate tolerance and acceptance) changing school curriculum that teaches total obedience to the state, getting all wealth and resources under state control and ensuring a younger population that needs little medical care. Again, thus ensuring that the much older, wiser leadership lives long and is there to watch over things.
There ya go. Pick your poison. Different rationales, same results. And yes this is satirical. I try not to take myself to seriously.
He's right. Until the old, uneducated, tea party evangelicals and their heavy influence in politics are gone we are stuck in the Dark Ages. They will eventually die off, but will it be too late by then? The old fossils have no stake in the future of the planet, so what do they care?
Us old people are the only thing keeping us out of the dark ages. I fear for the future of this country.
"It just sounds like people are scared. It just sounds like people are afraid. And the people who are afraid in general — with due respect, and I am now one of them — are older. Climate change deniers, by way of example, are older. It’s generational. So we’re just going to have to wait for those people to “age out,†as they say. “Age out†is a euphemism for “die.†But it’ll happen, I guarantee you — that’ll happen."
The funny thing is when I was younger I believed this climate science much more, but as I aged and all the predictions failed to materialize I started to question it. So, Nye might be surprised what happens to the younger generation as they age. Perhaps they'll start to see it differently too.
Yep, and he is 100% correct. The younger generation is not weighed down by years of fundamentalist indoctrination that science is bad and Jesus is coming to save the world. They know we have to save the planet ourselves, or we as a species will not survive. Nye is just calling it like he sees it.
I'm not weighed down by fundamentalist indoctrination. I'm weighed down by experience. You're going to wake up one day and realize much of this is cyclical, and all the models were wrong.
ALL people should die if you REALLY wanted to save the planet. That aside, when the planet decides it's time, it will just shake us off it's back like flees and it will happily continue on.
I agree that the religious should go first. They have been crying about the Rapture. Well, let's see if there is anything to it...
