Trump is a compulsive liar. It's a basic personality trait of his. He lies about things which are unnecessary and obvious. A lot of this is ego driven and not the typical political lies that we're used to. Whether you like him or loathe him, this is evident.

"Has President Trump told you about the time the head of the Boy Scouts called to say his was the best speech ever delivered to the more than century-old organization? What about when the president of Mexico picked up the telephone to let him know that his tough enforcement efforts at the border were paying off handsomely?"

What kind of person (let alone POTUS) makes up ridiculous claims that are easily disproven?

The same kind who never acknowledges mistakes and never gives apologies!

Just further confirmation of what a pathetically needy, juvenile snowflake Trump really is.

He's running things like a reality TV show. Almost everyday there's a new distraction. I loathe braggarts and as far as public American figures go he has to rank at the top.

It's long overdue that he be removed from office as he's mentally unfit to serve. He's taking lying to a whole new level, starting with his made up story on those bused voters from NJ to NH to this. Many, many lies in between. I'm no fan of Pence but he would be a major improvement. How anyone can take this clown seriously is quite baffling.

Maybe he thought no one would fact check, or maybe this is cover for health care.
