I can't say I feel too bad about it, if the guy was guilty of these atrocious deeds in the past.

A New Jersey man admitted in court to fatally stabbing the Boy Scout leader who he says repeatedly molested him as a child — to thunderous applause in the courtroom.

Clark Fredericks pleaded guilty Wednesday in Newton, N.J., to passion provocation manslaughter in the brutal slaying of retired correction officer Dennis Pegg three years ago.

Pegg was stabbed more than 20 times in his neck, chest and stomach, authorities say.

“From the time I was 8 years old until I was 12 years old, I was sexually assaulted and raped by Dennis Pegg,” Fredericks told the court in his impassioned plea, CBS in New York reported.

Give him probation. He's had enough punishment.

He could be using that as an excuse to get a pass on a Murder Charge.

Without any proof or witnesses it is not an absolute that he is telling the truth.

Great. People should be able to stab whomever they want in the neck. Who knows what horrible deeds they may have committed. And this way we can save lots of money on courts and due process.

If he passes a polygraph, produces a witness or allocutes to specific times and places, I agree. He's probably been living in his own private hell since the age of 12. Psych counseling should be a condition of probation.

I'm not opposed to making BSA pay for the counseling, either.

Can I stab someone in the neck for not putting a pickle on my burger? I'm entitled to that pickle! I paid for that pickle! I was repeatedly dissed by that employee for refusing me my pickle. Just one little stab in the neck?

Fun Fact: 1 in 7 boys are sexually assaulted as opposed to 1 in 4 girls.

Where is all the female vigilante justice and applause? I doubt we would ever see that. That crime is more commonplace and thus we're inured to it.

Everything about this story is sad.

The key word being "if." I hope there's some sort of foundation and evidence for his claims, otherwise whats to stop anyone from wiping out anyone that they have a grudge with and then making claims about abuse after the fact.

Not saying that is what happened here, but this is the slippery slope that comes with vigilante justice.

I doubt you put much thought into this.
