I like Jindal and I am glad to see we have a guy like Homan at ICE

"Bobby Jindal said that mayors of “sanctuary cities” that don’t report undocumented immigrants to the federal government should be arrested.

“Should a mayor of a sanctuary city who ignores federal law be arrested?” Jindal was asked after he referred to those mayors as “partners-in-crime.”

“Absolutely,” he responded. “I would hold them as an accomplice, make them criminally culpable.”

“I’d also make them civilly liable so that families, victim’s families could sue,” he continued. “Especially if the prosecutors aren’t taking action or the mayor’s not changing their ways, I’d allow the families to go to court to sue them civilly as well to recover damages.”

Homan called out the “most un-American sanctuary cities” and put them on notice. He’s now revealing more details as to what may be awaiting them. For starters, he’s talking about arresting the leaders of those cities on charges of violating federal anti-smuggling laws.

The country’s top immigration enforcement officer says he is looking into charging sanctuary city leaders with violating federal anti-smuggling laws because he is fed up with local officials putting their communities and his officers at risk by releasing illegal immigrants from jail.

Thomas Homan, the acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, also told Americans to expect more work site enforcement targeting unscrupulous employers and more 287(g) agreements with willing police and sheriff’s departments that want to help get illegal immigrants off their streets.

So the 50% of the country that did not vote for Trump and perhaps live in places that local preferences prevail over Federal ones should be punished both financially, judicially, even perhaps physically ?

I thought Trump supporters were against Federal Government overreach ?

Hahahaha. I can just imagine them cuffing up Mayor Goodman. Our mayor is a figurehead with zero power over police policy. Be careful though, the Goodman's have some friends.

No bullying necessary. They're violating Federal Law just like the illegals to which they're pandering. And they face prison time for doing so:

With regard to violations of 8 U.S.C. § 1324(a)(1)(ii)-(iv) and (v)(ii), domestic transportation, harboring, encouraging/inducing, or aiding/abetting, the basic statutory maximum term of imprisonment is 5 years, unless the offense was committed for commercial advantage or private financial gain, in which case the maximum term of imprisonment is 10 years.

Arrest them. Lock them up!
