What is it with you liberals and your love of foreign slaves? You owned the African slaves and fought to keep them against Abe Lincoln. Now you are fighting to keep your illegal immigrants that work for slave wages with no benefits.

What is your problem with paying people a decent wage and when the hell did the Republican Party have to be the ones to stand up for working Americans?
Now you crossed the line. You're bringing up the dirty little secrets liberals never want to talk about. They just want to talk about grape pickers and leave it at that.

The NY Times is not Mexican owned. Carlos Slim only owns 17% of the public stock, and none of the private stock. That isn't Mexican owned

Just like the CalExit folks, it seems they want the whole country instead of just CA to be filled with masters and serfs, remove the middle class...

Did you ever stop to think that the vast majority of those 2.6 million that die every year are seniors, not working. Probably not

That was painful.

Trump administration knows full well they don't have the Senate votes to pass this legislation. It was just a dog whistle to their base.

That is a good thing, only because it means if the 1 million who come in all work, then you take 2.6 million retirees permanently off social security and Medicare and have 1 million more people paying in. Ever think of that? Legal immigrants don't get let in to be on the dole......

And I guess you don't understand age pyramid of the US. For every 2.6 million seniors that may die in a year we are adding 2.9 million. A net plus of seniors and and since we are not adding 2.9 million working age to replace them. The numbers get worse.

This is why we are going from 5.2 working age per senior in 2000 to 3 to 1 in 2030

Maybe we do need more immigration limits just for the overcrowding. There should be limits on how many people are allowed into this country. When is enough enough?

Once again, we have a problem that will continue to grow in our nation. The number of seniors will increase while the number of working age Americans that continue to support those senior programs are dropping.

In 2000 the number was 5.2 working age American per senior over 65
In 2016 it was 3.91 to 1
In 2021 is projected at 3.39 to 1
In 2030 3 to 1

thats not sustainable
