Would you have cared if they did? I doubt if any Trump supporters would care what was leaked as long as it damaged Hillary.

Nope, but he also stated that there were things he could not talk about in those same situations....
That thread above was started today - the same day OP is complaining about leakers. Then the OP suggested that maybe the leak to Brietbart was leaked by Sessions...who is the same person complaining about leaks in the press today.
So it appears that they love leaks(sometimes the WH is the leaker) when the leaks support Trump; but they whine when the leaks are against Trump.
They even leak to squabble between WH staffers. Today there was a leak originating from McMasters that was complaining about Bannon leaking a different article, dissing McMasters! The entire WH is full of leakers and even Trump is a known leaker. Hiring General "what's his name" to be Chief of Staff isn't going to stop the leakers. The WH has been leaking all week long.
Republicans LOVE leaks when it benefits them and then threaten to jail leakers when it doesn't.

As they said - let's focus on the CONTENT.
1. Trump begging the president of Mexico not to 'say' he's not paying for the wall. It's ok if he doesn't pay for the wall ~ just don't talk about it. Please, pretty please.
2. Trump treats our ally like complete DIRT while he tells him that his phone call with Putin was 'pleasant'.
What we need is like an offshore computer server that can host all these leaks. Then the media can just say they got the news from the server, and didn't know it was classified information. Whoever posted to the server was the one leaking classified information, and we wouldn't know who that actually is.
I'm confident they'll find a solution. The little Keebler Elf isn't going to kill the free press.
