Right now the majority of immigrants to the US ,at least half are from Latin America, about a Third are from Asia, and Europe and Africa are maybe 10% or less each.

Will Trump's raise act primarily make it so most new immigrants are from Asia or will it benefit other regions as well.

White Nationalist Richard Spencer opposes the Raise Act for that reason.

Spencer seems like a goofball. A half loaf of bread is better than nothing.

My guess is we would get about the same number of immigrants from Asia and Europe that we are getting now since the total number would be cut in half, just the proportion from Asian would be very high maybe 80%. And we'd get a lot less from everywhere else.

But I do strongly agree that demographics and national origins should be taken into account like it was before the 1965 immigration changes. And since about at least 82% of immigrants should be European origin that would be a good way to lower total immigration further.

Percentage wise I think the Asian and Hispanic proportions will switch. AS for Europe it might increase slightly from about 5% to 10-15%. India is likely to be a major benefactor since English is a 2nd language there.

I would prefer all immigration be stopped until the whole system is thoroughly overhauled.

It's nothing less than racial profiling.

It's not about skin color. It's about immigrants whose native culture is compatible to ours and who are willing to assimilate into the mainstream culture.

Me too. In the overhaul make immigration non cultural and demographic changing.
