It should not be "news to you" that they didn't kill anyone this weekend. It should not be "news to you" that the KKK is more violent than BLM.

If it is, go turn on Fox news.

His statements Tuesday defending the white supremacists and opposing the removal of the Robert E. Lee statue confirm his racism. He also condemned a black CEO that resigned from an advisory committee after his delay in criticizing the supremacists in the Charlottesville protest and putting the blame for the violence on them. Tuesday's reversal left no doubt for reasonable Americans, but his cult will continue to forgive him. Thankfully, it is shrinking every week! He is even losing support among Republicans now.

You don't have to publicly say anything racist for it to be obvious that you're racist.

To condemn a subset of people who are not being violent when another subset literally just killed someone, yeah.....

I'm sure many think that people who cross the street when blacks walk by aren't racist either. "Just being careful."
I believe Jesse Jackson, who is black, said that he also crossed the street when he saw a group of young black men walking toward him on the sidewalk. I guess he's a racist, too.

He didn't defend them.

Did you hear that from your barista?

Please quote his defense.

You didn't say anything. You just made up something and acted like it holds water. Show proof he defended white supremacists in a bigoted way. Show proof of his bigotry. Reasons matter and not the made up words sensationalists use.

Right. They just punched a female reporter in the face, and stuff like that. Not anything to make an unstable person mad enough to kill or anything like that....

He didn't defend white supremacists. He explicitly condemned white supremacists, racists and Nazis.

He didn't say he opposed the removal of the Robert E. Lee statue. But he did ask whether its removal meant that we should also remove statues of slave owners George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

Trump was criticized for not disavowing support from David Duke and the KKK quickly enough during his campaign. Why did that black CEO agree to serve on his advisory committee after that?

Trump's critics have been calling him a racist since day one. It is obvious that the black CEO is grandstanding, along with the other CEOs.

Good riddance to them. They'll lose out on the advantage of having direct access to the president, who is deciding what to do about regulations and the tax code. Pretty dumb of them. I guess they don't care about their own stockholders.

Yes, when he blames both sides equally, he is defending the supremacists. His daughter, his Vice President, several GOP Congressmen and even Mitt Romney have taken strong and admirable stands against the supremacists. There is no moral eqivalency. Had he not contradicted his Monday statement, I may have had a little doubt. Now there is no doubt.

If you research his past, he discriminated against blacks as card dealers in his Atlantic City casino and his father had a racist past, too. He is on record saying he would never trust blacks to count his money.
