What difference will it make in 50 years if all these statues etc are removed?

To Blacks it will mean a Historical event.

To Whites. A burp in history.

Move them all to a National Confederate Museum created somewhere. Keep it Federal to keep out hate groups. In 127 yrs come back and ask the population as to what should now be done with them. 127 YRS RELATES TO THE SUPPOSED OLDEST ONES. darn caps sorry.

Seems gun enthusiasts will always find a reason or excuse to buy another gun. That it be related to the confederate cause isn't a real big surprise, nor is the subject of guns appearing in just about every thread for pretty much the same reasons I suspect...
Most people with a Confederate flag in their garage have a confederate revolver right next to it. Why is one getting the curse and not the other.

Not sure I follow, and I'm out of time for today, but why is it that so many people just love to point to other examples that make a problem even more problematical rather than simply accept the "low hanging fruit" that we may be allowed to counter white supremacist nationalist sentiments and inclinations?

Additionally, when it comes to guns (and let's please not let another thread get hi-jacked by that topic), one thing is to remove symbols of racism and white supremacy. That's relatively simple and easy. It's quite another to mess with the heads of gun enthusiasts about taking away their guns...
