It's difficult to see how this administration would last an entire term without SOME stabilizing influence. I wonder what would have happened this past week if Kelly hadn't been around to temper Trump's worst instincts.

Lightbulb John Kelly: what's not to like so far?

Kelly has a big insurmountable problem.

He's trying to get tRump to behave as an adult.

And that ain't gonna happen.

Sorry, you guys have been saying that Trump has been committing suicide politically ever since he first started running for office over two years ago.

It turns out he's the smart one, not you.

So you think he's been doing well, politically? He's winning new voters? He's improving his ability to get legislation passed?

1) Anti-Trumps like him (see this thread).

Wait a minute, you accuse us of hating ANYTHING on the Right, now it upsets you that we like one of them ?

2) He stared at his shoes like he was ashamed and embarrassed during Trump's press conference with the lying liberal fake news media.

Way to stand up for Trump, Mr. Chief of Staff -- not!

The man has integrity and intelligence. He is not a boot licker like so many of Trump's previous picks. He KNEW Trump was being an idiot up there and his body language spoke volumes.

3) He told his staff that their first loyalty wasn't to Trump but "to the country".

That's nice. But you're there to be loyal to Trump. And if you can't deal with that, then resign.

WOW, just WOW ! HELL NO ! Every person who works in our Government SHOULD hold AMERICA FIRST, not any one man. Only an Alt-Right thinker would say something like you just posted.

Kelly is starting to look like Comey and Mueller -- "straight shooters of great integrity" who turned out to be political hacks.

You can't even trust military officers anymore.

But we knew that when Gen. Wesley Clark was shilling for the democrooks a few years ago.

Yes, men of integrity, obviously something you find distasteful and alarming. It is amazing any person on earth would post what you just said. While Trump was nursing a bad heel, these men were serving America and did it with HONOR !

Trump still has a lot to learn about Washington.

No, Donald Trump has a lot to learn about LIFE. He is incapable of learning anything to do his job better, he is simply too damn dumb.

Oh, and let's take a gander at Tillerson, who was singing the praises of "diversity" and racial/gender preferences (reverse discrimination) while discussing hiring at the State Department.

Another "winner" that Trump needs to get rid of.
We know you would love to make this country all white and all straight, because that is something another leader you probably adore tried back in the 1930's. You would have been very happy in Nazi Germany..........at least for a while.

Probably time to go spit shine those boots, you must have some big rallies coming up to attend.

Any person who thinks Donald Trump is smart must have the IQ of a carrot. Every time he opens up his mouth it becomes painfully evident he spent his learning years partying and chasing women. It wasn't getting an education that permits him to speak intelligently or in a sensible manner.

Yeah, he is smart alright.

Yeah, he is smart alright.
He's the President, and your darlings Hillary and Bernie are not.

Enough said.

He seems like a good man who has taken on a miserable job in service to his country.

Why are you constantly committed to dividing, polarizing, and creating hate and bigotry?
If you think your party are the ONLY decent humans, why don't you reflect that????
