It went away as soon as the media/Democrats switched to the "white supremacist/racist" narrative. They are just going to air whatever they think is most harmful to Trump. And the liberal sheep will repeat it and run with it.

Mueller does not have a magical shield or cloak to hide from hundreds of reporters eager to break the next story. news is news and reporters will file request, sniff around and dig up what they can. sorry to burst your bubble.

Recall, that the Watergate affair began in June 1972, and lasted until Nixon's resignation in August 1974. There were certainly stretches during which there was no to little news. It was not like 'everyday is a headline day'. Other events also drove Watergate off the front pages (1973), such as the oil crises, the October War in Israel, the resignation of Spiro Agnew, Wounded Knee, etc.
And Ken Starr started his Whitewater investigation in August of 1994 and Clinton was impeached in February of 1999. How many rightwingers here think Starr should have stopped investigating in early 1995?

The media and their leftist allies did their best, I have to give them credit.
They worked extremely hard at convincing everyone that the election was stolen away from Hillary.
The only problem was, there really wasn't any truth to it. Sure, there were a few meetings here and there. But there was nothing ever proven that Trump or his people did anything illegal.
There was no evidence that anyone's vote was ever changed from Hillary to Trump.....as anyone with common sense could have told you.
So here we are, 7 months into Trump's presidency.
What will they think up next?
I think everyone's noticed that the "Russian meddling" story has been pushed off the front pages and news rooms by Trump's racism. And as the latter matter is a more immediate and juicy story line it'll be the lead story until his next screw up.
Do you have some inside knowledge about Muller's investigation?!? Mueller's hired many prosecutors, he wouldn't have done so unless there was a good reason. Remember he's one of your own, but I understand why conservatives might not like it when they're reminded that he's a Republican.
Conservatives are so impatient, but don't worry, if and when charges are filed, Trump's racism and sexism will be put on a back burner...

The hot topic now is the pro-American, pro-Trump and pro-republican rallies and how these rallies are filled with nothing but violent racist individuals. This has taken the place of all that Russia nonsense.
Funny I remember all those morons showing up to the Trump rallies who were wearing KKK hoods and turned out to be Hillary people. A real batch of damaged goods.
as a non trump supporter i am exhausted at the news focusing on every blunder trump makes. None of his supporters give a damn and it is just creating more division. Just concentrate on the news already.
