I think some don't realize what a lie is versus a misstatement due to insufficient knowledge/information. During Trump's campaign, he didn't have full information on what was going on behind the scenes, didn't have the opportunity to dive into top secret information, consult with experts, etc.
In order for it to be a lie, Trump would have had to known when he said it that it was untrue and his intention would have been to deceive voters/supporters. I don't think there was much of that, and don't know of anything specific.
Obama lied so many times that I can understand why the next POTUS to follow him would be suspected of lying. And, then, there was Hillary Clinton................

Like either one or not, they're both qualified. It's always about policy. Something you refuse to discuss because it would expose the failures of the big government policies you back.

Because he's not Hillary. I know there's a lot of Obama/Hillary comparisons but it's really why I voted for this guy. He was the lesser of two evils.
When he announced his candidacy I thought this will good for a few laughs before he gets blown out of the water in a few months. Yet here we are.
Put up a better candidate and I'll vote for them. But when faced between Hillary and Trump, it's a clear, yet distasteful choice.
Re the bolded, I didn't vote for either of them, and I won't vote for Trump in 2020, but I think many of the people who are so upset fail to understand how much many people dislike Hillary....and no not because 'Trump told them to'.
