I thought Trump was a "great negotiator? How come he can't negotiate a better NAFTA deal?
I thought he said all that stuff was supposed to be "soooooooo easy"?
Hmmmmm
Maybe that "Great negotiator" stuff was all bullsh*t to begin with.
Who'd a' thunk it?

"We are in the NAFTA (worst trade deal ever made) renegotiation process with Mexico & Canada. Both being very difficult, may have to terminate?"

I love how all you "Constitutional scholars" don't know the first thing about the Constitution.

Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 of the United States Constitution, includes the Treaty Clause, which empowers the president of the United States to propose and chiefly negotiate agreements, which must be confirmed by the Senate, between the United States and other countries, which become treaties between the United ...

Poor Ken. So confident Hillary would win, and now relegated to this. It's going to be a long eight years for you pal.

Negotiation is give and take. Trump won't give, or admit that Canada & Mexico have NAFTA concerns that they'd like to be addressed.

Fast Track authority has put negotiating trade deals in the hands of the President since 1974 in one form or another. You can argue the congress was not wise to do so but that is the way it has been done. Time to for Trump to put up or shut up.....

Hey, I'm LOVIN' it! There's always another election down the road.
In the meantime, I get to watch Trump flail around incompetently and accomplish next to nothing, alienating U.S. allies and giving all his GOP associates heartburn and near-coronaries - and all the while knowing I share no blame in the disaster whatsoever. Trump is doing nothing but exposing the GOP for the neo-NAZI cesspool that party has become.

Sitting on the sidelines watching the Trump Administration and the GOP implode is FUN!
Pass the popcorn!

Trump unable to negotiate better NAFTA deal?

You know those polls that Trumplings always love to slag on?

The ones that show tRump has the lowest support of any US president ever?

Pena-Nieto and Trudeau pay close attention to those polls. They understand the implications of tRump's record low numbers. They grasp that they have nothing to gain from negotiating with the lamest lame duck to ever occupy the oval office. They have no incentive to give up any favorable clauses to a guy they know is approaching his expiration date.

They'll just sit it out. tRump has zero leverage over any foreign leader.

And they ALL know that.

Trumplings still haven't figured any of that out, though. They're still living in last November.
