Looks like it could happen next week. I believe they're only one or two votes from 50 at this point. Paul is the only R that I've heard is a definite no. McCain, Murkowski, and Collins are questionable.

Sadly I think McCain is going to be a yes. It's going to be very, very close. I'm biting my nails here in worry for all the people who rely upon the Medicaid expansion for health coverage.

Are there any liberals that realize Obamacare is in its death spiral? Just one that understands basic economics 101 and doesn't look at it's another freebie that someone else pays for? That the world owes them something for some perceived injustice?

Its not going to happen folks. I wish they could get something accomplished on healthcare but 2 votes away for republicans may as well be 200 votes. The plan is not inspiring, Rand Paul is against it. Congress should just focus on getting tax cuts done correctly this year (which they 90% chance won't do). Beyond fed up with these group of losers who can't do anything to move our country forward

Sadly, you are probably right. As for Rand, he's against anything that's not his idea...

Now I wonder if repeal passes this time, will we finally get the chance to pass Medicare for all now that Obama's legacy legislation is out of the picture? If that's what the Dems are gonna do, I fully support repeal

I got the impression it'll be rocky in the house this time. Steve King said he's a definite no, and another rep. from NY said that he's also leaning no... and pointed out the G-C bill left out an amendment that was critical to the house approval of the last bill.

That's not going to happen anytime soon if at all. Didn't good old Bernie admit that it'd cost 31 Trillion to do?
