Most people will probably think this is a good idea. However, this is typically something only dictatorships do. I am all for honoring our servicemen and women but this isn't the way to do it. So parades honoring our armed forces are now Communist? How is Trump making America become an authoritarian dictatorship? Has he mandated the Constitution invalid? Has he jailed innocent people? Has he stopped Free Speech (1A) like the Liberal/Progressives/Democrats want? Has he confiscated guns from the law abiding (2A) like Hillary, and the Dems wanted? Please tell me.

Trump wants so badly to stand on a balcony like Mussolini wearing a large military cap, aviator sunglasses, an olive green uniform with a chest full of medals like those South American dictators or those old Communist politburo types who we would see on May Day on a podium watching their missiles go by years ago.

I don't see anything wrong with military parades, but this juvenile president of ours just wants to get his ego all juiced up.
I like the typical American tradition, with community floats and high school - college marching bands (possibly except Ohio State), police cars and fire trucks with their lights going and a military color guard. It's a more well rounded picture of Americana, we are all a republic of free citizens doing our collective 'thing'.
