It appears from what I've been reading that Kim is planning on an EMP attack, and that only takes one big missle up high enough to accomplish wiping out our electric grid. It also appears unlikely that we have a strong chance of shooting down the missle unless we are very close to it. Is this correct?

I saw this morning this quote by Octavia E. Butler that seems apt:

“Choose your leaders with wisdom and forethought.
To be led by a coward is to be controlled by all that the coward fears.
To be led by a fool is to be led by the opportunists who control the fool.
To be led by a thief is to offer up your most precious treasures to be stolen.
To be led by a liar is to ask to be told lies.
To be led by a tyrant is to sell yourself and those you love into slavery.”

The US Navy aircraft had been flying over the Sea of Japan some ninety miles off the North Korean coast when MiG-17 fighters attacked it.

Despite overseeing the largest single loss of American crew during the Cold War era, Nixon's administration did not retaliate against North Korea.

Instead, The US Navy staged a naval demonstration in the Sea of Japan as a show of force, then resumed reconnaissance flights the following week.

North Korea has shot down a US plane in the past - and they could do it again - Telegraph

You left out one part. Liberals, being pacifists always find a reason to avoid settling a conflict. It's best to let it grow and get worse. Then appease the bully. Eventually that tact fails. War happens.

What amazes so many Americans is the denial by the Left that their love affair with Socialism is a prelude to the form of government practiced in N. Korea.

You need to read up on the differences between socialism and social programs as they are two entirely different concepts.

Our love affair with Socialism is nothing more than wanting to be more like Denmark, Norway, etc.

Do you actually believe that in your heart? Or do you just hate democrats and liberals SO MUCH that you will make up lies? Tucker Carlson created dailycaller, the website you reference in the OP. Tucker Carlson HATES liberals, and his website creates fake news so that people like you will see it, believe it, and post it to Facebook, Twitter, internet forums, etc.

Posts like this are part of the fake news machine. The title of your thread is propaganda.

So funny watching NK supporting Leftists try and deny it. Excuses all over the place. It's quite obvious they side with him. There have been many threads here saying Trump is mean for hurting his feelings and the USA would deserve an attack for it and it would be Trump's fault. This is nothing new. The Left generally sides with the enemy in all conflicts.
