This is what was reported on News Radio 88 today 9/26/2018. With a blue wave expected to change not just the House but possibly the Senate too, the President said that the Chinese are busy manipulating the midterm elections. These are elections that are six weeks off. This is rather sad that a President who makes carelessly irresponsible remarks along with other things should make up an excuse for his failure.
The image that I had of this successful developer dims in the light of his eighteen months of clown car politics.
Well it does make sense. The Chinese are not happy with the new tariffs so what better way to stop them then to cut Trump off at the knees by helping the Dems win big in November.
Trump might sound like a kook but he was right about the wire tapping of Trump tower, the nonsense of the Russian collusion being a witch hunt and the ridiculousness of the dodgy dossier that allowed the spying...
I think Trump is smarter than what people give him credit for.

Trump's ego won't let him take the blame for a rebuttal of his policies and his behavior.

Well, he always make s excuses for his failure. There is a train wreck of bodies, career s and reputations that he drags along with him every where he goes.
He s like Jacob Marley.
He was never a successful developer...as in NOT having to file multiple bankruptcy and go to a murderous foreign government for Cash because your own Country wont do business with you anymore.
I m.just hoping its a tell that he knows the flip is gonna happen and that it is also why he and his republican soldiers are ramming Kavenaugh the Indictment Eater into judges robes at breakneck speed.
Its hilarious their worldwide breakdown
Can't miss an episode.

He could say that, and he could be right. But he would use it as an excuse, not a real reason for Republican losses.
The question I have is, if he is willing to believe that the PRC is actively interfering what is he doing about it? China may (or may not) be a new player in this game but they would not be the first and neither the last.
Our own president has been reluctant to deal with these threats up until now, not even willing to admit it (apparently due to his pride), and we are vulnerable to any number of determined rival countries until we get serious.
