You probably want to bookmark that site and keep checking it regularly as the insurers get their rates approved for next year.

Odd that the usual ACA defenders haven't commented. Obviously they aren't paying anything under the failed scheme that is the ACA. I guess if you're collecting other people's money that's a good reason to support the status quo.

It's shameful that neither party cares about their constituents, the war on our health care is purely political while at the same time those same politicians are taking money from HC and pharma lobbyists. Obamacare will fail because it is being set up for the kill by republicans, if democrats regain the majority, they will kill any republican efforts. But, we have to do something, and it can't be something that will be politicized, that's why patients and HC providers have to come up with our own solution. One possibility is Direct Primary Care, https://www.dpcare.org/ , where an individual or family contracts with their physician for a set amount annually, and backs up catastrophic care with a HDHP. It may not be perfect, but it is a step in the right direction and it lives outside of politics and government interference. I still have employer based HC, and I'll be on Medicare next year, but for young families, this could be an option that might save them money and some price stability.

I have employer coverage but I'm hoping/expecting this bipartisan business going on between Lamar Alexander and Patty Murray will go somewhere good. Something needs to be done... call it repeal, replace, repair, reform, whatever, I don't care... but I definitely think something will improve if these two can agree to something.

I just payed my health care premium for this month today.....$37.50, no deductible, no co-pay no stress....Spent three days in hospital last week.....My cost $0.....I have no idea why America does not have a decent health care system.

It is all about the middle man (insurance companies) getting paid and then lining the pockets of the politicians to keep it the way it is. In other words it is corrupt.

If you own a small business join an association of other small businesses to get cheaper group rates. You don't need to be in the same state. This was just announced yesterday by Trump but I don't know details. Contact your local Congressman or Senator to see how to apply. It is Sec. of Labor Acosta's baby.

You might want to watch the whole video where Trump announced this since it was at the Natl Federation of Independent Business. Very enthusiastic reception for Trump where he addressed their concerns and how he's helped them. If you don't want to watch the whole fifty-one minutes, he talks health care around the forty minute mark. Audience was ecstatic!

United healthcare Cadillac plan in NYC/NYS for my Son and So on her employee plan may go up 11%. Her plan costs in total $21000 a year now. It has gone up every year since the ACA went into effect. Her plan used to be $4500 a year for just her. Than $6000 a year then it went crazy. She pays roughly $8000 a year towards her plan. I had United Healthcare through the state exchange and it was costing me $800 s month. My Dr. stopped taking it so I had to switch to Empire Ble Cross/Blue Shield. It's a little cheaper but I am getting less and I am paying more out of pocket. Between the two of us, our plans cost over $30,000 a year. How is that possible? How is that affordable??
