Duffel bags, luggage, DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. It's not as if they search your luggage at hotels.

"Do Not Disturb" placed on the room door. Happens all the time. Housekeeping is more than happy to oblige because it saves them time not having to clean as many rooms and change sheets/towels, etc., on their floors.

Just heard that at least one of the weapons was an AR15 modified for full automatic, much too easy in our country. But in a country where we have an average of one gun for every many woman and child I would say that is a sign that we treat our guns very foolishly.
What "LAW" ever would have stopped this guy from making that gun full auto? We cannot legislate people into becoming good people. It's never going to happen.

I think Vegas hotels regularly see people coming in with tons of large luggage or packages, because of events/conferences/etc. My SO once mailed like 5 giant boxes to the Aria before a conference because he had to set up a booth... no questions or concerns from the staff at all. The guy prob declined room service for the days he stayed there.

Gun stocks rose Monday following the Vegas shooting. There is an expectation that gun owners will want to buy more?

Default Why did he?

I guess no one knows what caused that shooting. But does anyone have a wild guess?

He was a normal guy with no past history of violence or mental illness. There was nothing unusual about him, that I have heard of so far. He seems like exactly the opposite of the kind of person you would expect to do this.

There wasn't anything to make him angry, according to the stories I read.

And yet it was the worst mass shooting ever in this country.

Maybe they just haven't uncovered the relevant information yet. From what I read so far, there is not the slightest hint of a motive.

Bring the guns up in pieces in suitcases and then leave do not disturb sign on his door. I'm sure in Vegas it is not odd for people to have DND on their door for days on end with what goes on there.
