This is only in NYC. The city's companies are transitioning to $15.00 an hour minimum wage.

I don't know why Shake Shack doing this is news, even some McDonalds's are already automated in the city. Applebees too, since they have that touchscreen on every table, but they still have waiters.

Here in Phoenix, Chili's has that touchscreen, but we don't use it. We prefer the human waitress
